At Movement Labs, we are leading the way in blockchain technology with an open modular framework for building and deploying Move-based infrastructure, applications, and blockchains in any distributed environment. We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join our Developer Relations team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and experience in building or participating in a successful Developer Relations program at an L1/L2 network.

Responsibilities

• Identify builder needs and obstacles and work with Movement Product, Engineer, and Marketing teams
• Lead research and coordination of integration partners to launch new protocols
• Oversee the development and implementation of developer relations strategies.
• Recruit, coach, and grow a team of developer relations engineers.
• Oversee the development and implementation of developer relations program.
• Effectively communicate at conferences and other public events.
• Foster strong relationships within the developer community.
• Understand and cater to the needs of developers.
• Dive into projects as needed and tailor conversations to different audiences, enhancing developer activation.
• Maintain the developer portal and technical documents.
• Engage builders and strategic partners to understand their needs, design technical solutions for their problems, and obtain feedback on the platform.
• Attend or facilitate conferences and events to gain and share insights on user experience and technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong technical and coding skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in tailoring technical conversations to different audiences.
• Builder and developer-first mindset.
• Active participation and a proven track record of contributions in the web3 community.
• Proficiency in smart contract development, preferably in Move.
