Role Overview:

This role will be at the cross-section of data, product and ecosystem working on the cutting edge of blockchain technology. We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Product and Relationship Manager to join our growing team. The role will report into the Product team and will be a hybrid of Product Management and Relationship Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with Flare’s providers/validators and protocols building on Flare. Acting as a crucial liaison between product and ecosystem teams, this role will inform product decisions and drive improvements. It is an unique opportunity to work closely with the heads of Product, Ecosystem and Strategy to grow Flare’s product portfolio. 

Roles and responsibilities

Product Management

• Act as a liaison between product and ecosystem teams to track projects or partners building on the Flare network.
• Understand the requirements and timelines of projects/protocols to inform product decisions within Flare.
• Develop analytics to track the usage of Flare Products like FTSO, FDC, etc.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams on making improvements to Flare Products based on the needs of protocols building on Flare.
• Develop tools to track the participation of providers/validators by working as a product manager partnering with engineering.
• Create documentation to facilitate effective communication with providers and protocols.

Relationship Management

Providers / Validators

• Manage relationships with Flare’s providers who power and secure the network.
• Develop a strong understanding of the tools and processes they run.
• Provide support and resources to ensure their effective participation and engagement.

Protocols / Projects

• Develop and manage relationships with projects / protocols building on the Flare network.
• Understand their needs and requirements to inform product decisions
• Facilitate communication between Flare Products team and the protocols to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product management and relationship management roles, preferably in the consulting, blockchain or tech industry.
• 5 - 8 years of experience working as a product manager in a start-up or fast moving environment.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and ecosystem, including Layer-1 protocols and oracle networks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.



Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with blockchain validators and understanding of their tools/processes.
• Previous experience in developing analytics tools and tracking usage metrics.
• Experience in a product or technical role that involved communication with engineering teams.
