Description

We’re looking for a Marketing and Community Lead who is obsessed with bringing better financial products to everyone. The right person for the role should feel equally comfortable working with key partners and key opinion leaders (KOLs) on co-marketing, and chatting with community members on Discord or Telegram. They should be self-motivated, ambitious, and a data-driven decision-maker.

Role

• Plan and execute a GTM plan to bring a better financial system to everyone.
• Grow a fun and engaging community of DeFi focused on crypto users.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, reporters, and agencies.
• Manage all public communications (Twitter, Discord, Telegram, etc.) for Plaza Finance, the first platform for on-chain bonds and leverage.
• Own key metrics like user growth and community engagement with the Founder.
• Collaborate with the Founder of Convexity Labs to make strategic product and go-to-market decisions.

Qualifications

Required

• Track record of driving organic growth to an early-stage community in Crypto/DeFi.
• Experience running social media/external communications for a brand.
• Deep understanding of crypto users and culture.
• Professional or native English language proficiency.

Bonus

• Existing relationships with KOLs and media outlets.
• Ability to analyze key metrics and user data to drive products and marketing decisions.
• Understanding of the regulatory constraints around marketing crypto/financial products.
