Build and Deploy Trustworthy Apps using Zero Knowledge Proofs
We believe that zero knowledge proofs will form the foundation of the next generation of Internet scalability and privacy. IronMill is a venture-backed Web3 startup that is building tooling to operationalize and simplify the deployment of zero knowledge proofs - we call this zkOps. We're building a unique hardware-software hybrid layer for optimized zk deployment. IronMill is founded by experienced entrepreneurs and is a member of the Stanford University Blockchain Accelerator. IronMill’s technical founder holds a PhD in EE from Stanford and co-teaches Stanford’s CEE 246A Blockchain Entrepreneurship seminar.
While zero knowledge proofs and blockchains leverage relatively new mathematical tools, practical implementation of these systems requires extensive Web2 infrastructure and hardware. This role will focus on building user-facing functionality for our zkOps tooling.
At IronMill, we emphasize an agile workflow, with continuous constructive feedback from customers, industry experts, and members of the Web3 ecosystem. Therefore, our software development tends to follow a rapid cycle of build – demo – receive feedback – iterate. This role is ideal for a candidate who wants to learn from the Web3 community and build the next generation of developer tooling.

IronMill’s software tools bridge the gap between scientific advances in zero knowledge proofs and trustworthy, Internet-scale systems. Emerging applications for the Verifiable Internet include privacy-preserving technologies, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and blockchain integrity tools. IronMill is building an integrated solution for software developers who want to deploy zero knowledge systems. The platform provides tooling for circuit selection, integration into popular on-chain and off-chain programming environments, and optimized deployment across several infrastructure platforms.
