Taiko Labs is building the Taiko ZK-EVM: a layer-2 blockchain that scales Ethereum in a manner that emulates Ethereum as closely as possible - both technically and non-technically. Taiko ZK-EVM is an Ethereum-equivalent ZK-Rollup, scaling Ethereum by supporting all EVM opcodes in a layer-2 architecture that is decentralized, permissionless, and secure.

We are strong believers in zero-knowledge proofs. Our team consists of people that have been using ZKPs since 2018 and have built the first ZK-Rollup on Ethereum. We are looking to expand our team with more talented and determined individuals that share our goals.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain Full-Stack Engineer to join our team at Taiko Labs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our Type-1 ZK-EVM Taiko protocol smart contracts and Taiko DAO, with a focus on security, scalability, and performance. • Design and develop the Taiko DAO, including both the smart contracts and frontend components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new features and improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Ethereum, DAO, and Solidity ecosystems.

About you

  • At least 2 years of experience in Solidity development, with a deep understanding of Foundry and smart contract development best practices.
  • At least 2 years of experience in ReactJS and/or Svelte development.
  • Prior experience building DAO contracts or integrating with DAO contracts in dApps.
  • Must understand how the Ethereum blockchain works and its underlying principles.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely without the need for mentorship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing industry landscape.
