IO Global is searching for a Technical Project Manager (Scrum Master) to join their Core Technology team.

Role overview

IO Global is searching for a Scrum Master to join their Core Technology team. As Scrum Master at IOG, you will manage the delivery of blockchain and cryptocurrency projects. You will have strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will have significant experience leading IT Development projects.

Your mission

Lead the planning and implementation of projects
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Assemble and coordinate project staff
Assist the Lead Software Development Manager to plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Work closely with key project stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional activity within IOG to ensure projects are delivered according to defined scope and on time
Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
Collate and present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
Manage the RAID Log (Risks, Actions, Issues, and Dependencies (we use Decisions here), update with all project actions, and coordinate with individuals and teams on the status of all items
Assesses the scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach them to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving
Respond to and remove, or find others to remove, any reported impediments that obstruct a development team's pursuit of its goals, such as do what is necessary to ensure down computers are back up quickly and keep the developers comfortable
Make tough calls, being a voice of reason and authority, ensuring agile/scrum concepts and principles are adhered to
Work, collaborate, and communicate effectively, internally and externally, improving transparency and sharing information
Organize and facilitate meetings, including preparing, moderating, and post-processing
Help with product release planning and enforce deadlines
Support and educate the product owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog and release plan
Improve personal skills, continually learning new tools and techniques to manage yourself as well as help improve the team.

Requirements

Your expertise

Blockchain experience
Qualification in project management or equivalent
Qualification in scrum
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Direct work experience in a project management capacity
Proven experience in people management
Proven experience in strategic planning
Proven experience in risk management
Proven experience in change management
Proficient with project management software
Strong experience in delivering Software projects
Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (but you are not required to have hands-on involvement).
