Role overview

We’re seeking a product engineer who is also excited by building beautiful products. While it’s hard to say exactly what we’ll work on given that we are such an early-stage startup, we expect projects to include:

  • Wallet software that is a joy to use, with innovative onboarding and account recovery mechanisms.
  • The product side of developer tools and SDKs
  • Imaginative cryptocurrency applications that showcase what’s possible with a lightweight blockchain

Requirements

  • 3+ years of engineering experience Bonus: Experience building developer-facing APIs and libraries
  • Willingness to work on-site in a San Francisco based office
  • Knowledge and passion for React internal Bonus: Experience with React Hooks or GraphQL
  • Experience with AWS or other public cloud providers
  • Familiarity with functional programming, know your way around the map and reduce.
  • Willingness to learn to work with our OCaml protocol daemon code
  • Experience working on collaborative projects with a product team

Nice to have (at least one of the following)

  • Exposure to working with cryptocurrencies
  • Experience with ReasonML, OCaml, Haskell, or Rust
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Early-stage startup experience
  • Experience with contributing to Open Source
